  Never again. Greg (American Construction, General Contractor Ojai, CA) proved himself to be a man of many traits. The traits I am referring to are but not limited to dishonest, con/scam artist, sloppy, poor quality work, lacks knowledge. I rarely write such negative reviews, but when someone intentionally straight out rips someone off, like Greg did us, it has earned to be briefed on publically. Even when confronted with proof of his unbelievable gouging for materials, Greg refused. Instead he made alteration to the beams making them un-returnable. He later told me he received an adjustment on the price from where purchased, but our bill was not adjusted. We not talking a few bucks, NOOO we were overcharged $342, and the beams weren't even treated, like we wanted. This is only one example, there is more wrongs to this story and proof for it all, like the $800 over the proposed price, but this is a review, not a story line or blog. I highly recommend and urge everyone to stay away from this company, avoid doing business with Greg. Trust me on this. If you decide to disregard my warning and hire him, keep few things upfront and center in your mind....Be prepared to do clean up, have someone lined up for all the corrections/fixes that will be needed. DO YOUR HOMEWORK (basic info for job how to and materials needed (not just what Greg says). DO NOT, repeat DO NOT have him buy the materials for project. Get a detailed (detailed being the operative word) invoice/job order for everything, as in everything, in writing from beginning to end. Receipts. Remember....BUY MATERIALS YOURSELF and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!
